From stuck to safe: how to make change actually last

My first experience with Time Line Therapy® 

When I first experienced Time Line Therapy®, my biggest limiting beliefs were:

  • I am not safe

  • I am not enough

  • I am not good enough

These beliefs had been quietly running the show for years. I would overthink before speaking, avoid situations where I might be judged and constantly second guess myself even when I had the skills and knowledge.

Through Time Line Therapy®, I released those beliefs and the emotional weight tied to them. The change was undeniable:

  • I felt calm instead of anxious

  • I could process challenges without spiralling

  • I trusted my own decisions

  • My nervous system no longer defaulted to panic or shutdown in uncomfortable moments

A simple practice to start rewiring your subconscious 

If you have been doing the work and still feel stuck, try this:

  1. Notice when your body contracts such as your shoulders hunching, your breath shortening or your stomach dropping.

  2. Pause and place a hand on your chest or stomach.

  3. Tell yourself: “I am safe right now.”

  4. Repeat as needed.

It may sound simple but over time this teaches your nervous system to create a new baseline of safety which is the foundation for any lasting change.
